Our first label is a collaboration between two artists: Valerie Cobian and Rachel Ashley-Lovelace, known as “Las Mijas”. Valerie and Rachel are independent illustrators that met and
became instant friends due to their shared love of animals, food and all things creative. Over the years, they have co-authored and illustrated multiple comics and projects together.
For their label they were inspired by childhood works such as the ”The Wind in the Willows” Their pets can be seen front and center, having a picnic made up of the tasting notes found in a Maddalena Rose
